Overnights: Star Plus stays top; Hum TV & New Vision TV stay strong on Tuesday

Star Plus remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel with its share remaining unchanged at 0.16%, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel’s top show was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with an audience of 102,900 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 49,000 viewers and ‘Ishqbaaaz’ in its new slot of 20:00 saw a rise with 43,700 viewers. New shows ‘Krishna Chali London’ and ‘Mariam Khan’ pulled in 35,000 viewers and 31,900 viewers respectively.

The rest of the pecking order at No.2 and No.3 remained the same too with Hum TV staying strong in second place with a share of 0.10%. The channel’s top performers included ‘Kankar’ at 21:30 with 55,400 viewers, followed by ‘Iftaar Package’ at 21:00 with 27,600 viewers.

New Vision TV was in third spot with a share of 0.10% also. Its biggest show was ‘Headline News’ at 10:00 with 28,800 viewers. ‘Salam Zindagi’ at 10:05 also did well with 26,300 viewers.

ZEE TV clocked a share of 0.04% and Sony Entertainment Television with 0.02%. Colors slumped to a zero share.
