Overnights: Star Plus’ share drops again but remains No.1 on Monday

Star Plus witnessed a drop in UK ratings again on Monday, as viewers adjusted to the channel’s new primetime schedule, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ top show was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, which attracted 55,000 viewers at 19:30. This was followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 45,700 viewers and new show ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 33,900 viewers. The second new show ‘Krishna Chali London’ (pictured) at 21:00 pulled in 35,600 viewers.

Despite its fall, Star Plus remained ahead of rival channels with a share of 0.16%. Hum TV was the second biggest Asian TV channel with a share of 0.10% with ‘Shareek-e-Hayat’ at 22:45 pulling in 29,500 viewers and ‘Kankar’ at 21:30 with 24,900 viewers.

New Vision TV raked in a share of 0.10%, taking the third spot.

ZEE TV was up with a share of 0.05% with ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ on top with 16,800 viewers at 21:30.

Sony Entertainment Television delivered a share of 0.03% and Colors with 0.02%.
