Jus Punjabi TV begins scouting for new presenters globally

Popular American Punjabi television channel, Jus Punjabi has begun its hunt for presenters to localise feeds in various countries.

Just a couple of days ago, BizAsiaLive.com had revealed that UK media legend, Rajan Singh has been appointed to spearhead Jus Punjabi’s new vision ahead. As well as overlooking the channel’s business globally, he will also be injecting fresh ideas to localise programming in the UK and US.

In a tweet recently, Singh put out a call urging interested applicants to get in touch for a presenter’s role.

Jus Punjabi began broadcasting in the UK last year but has predominantly been broadcasting shows directly from the US. The channel has also attempted to broadcast live feeds from various melas and events and is expected to build on this to enhance its presence in the UK market.

Currently, Jus Punjabi faces competition from PTC Punjabi in the UK market, with ZEE Punjabi, now only available on Virgin Media, limiting its reach to compete with the former two.
