Madhuri Dixit begins shoot for ‘Kalank’

Veteran actress, Madhuri Dixit has begun shooting for Dharma Productions’ ‘Kalank’ today.

Dixit, who will be seen in her debut Marathi film next month, is also working on Indra Kumar’s ‘Total Dhamaal’. For now, however, the actress is excited about shooting for ‘Kalank’. Other actors Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha, are expected to join her later.

Dixit was cited in Deccan Chronicle saying, “I am excited to start the shoot for ‘Kalank’ today, it’s my second association with Karan Johar after ‘Bucket list’ and it’s been a lovely journey so far. Can’t wait to begin this one.”

Furthermore, Filmfare reports Dixit and Bhatt will be shooting for a special song soon too, “Madhuri and Alia will be doing a special dance number in ‘Kalank’ together. It will be as exciting as Madhuri and Ranbir’s ‘Ghagra’ song in which the two starred together for the first time.”
