Chunky Pandey emotional about daughter Ananya’s debut

Proud father Chunky Panday recently admitted that sending daughter Ananya Pandey off to the sets of ‘Student of the Year 2’ has been a bittersweet experience.

The ‘Student of the Year 2’ team has started their first shooting schedule at St. Teresa High School in Dehradun, away from Pandey’s Mumbai home. “I speak to Ananya every now and then. Bhavna (Pandey) had gone there for a couple of days to get her settled in. She is in high school (in the film) now so parents are not allowed but I’m sure she’s enjoying herself. I’d love to see her in action. Maybe I will sneak in when the team is shooting in Mumbai.”, Pandey told Mirror, adding that, “I got emotional when she left but then I told myself that she’s going away to college and will be away for a couple of months. That’s how I’m looking at it.”

Pandey, who has starred in several multi-starrer films himself, is not worried about Ananya Pandey’s co-stars Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff overshadowing her: “There were two girls in the story right from the outset and I’m sure they will complement each other. All three look cute together.”

Pandey himself is busy with several projects this year, including ‘Saaho’, ‘Housefull 4’ and his Marathi debut ‘Bangarwala’.
