Overnights: Star Plus & Rishtey Cineplex excel on Friday in UK

Star Plus accelerated in UK ratings on Friday and Rishtey Cineplex dominated the movie genre with a huge jump, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsialive.com.

Star Plus’ share jumped to 0.27% with ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 pulling in 103,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 96,000 viewers and ‘Ikyawann’ at 18:30 with 91,500 viewers.

Rishtey Cineplex excelled with a huge share of 0.17% – One of the biggest shares for a movie channel ever. It was movies ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ that impressed with 36,300 viewers and 33,600 viewers respectively.

Other channels remained on the lower side including Sony Entertainment Television with a share of 0.04%, Star Bharat and Geo TV with 0.03%, Colors, ZEE TV and Hum TV with 0.02%.
