Kumar Sangakkara to join Sky Sports commentary team

Sri Lanka legend, Kumar Sangakkara has been confirmed as a commentator on Sky Sports, in a major shake up.

The 40 year old, who retired from the game last September, has been signed up for his first full-time commentary role. The news comes as Sky refreshes its on-air team ahead of the 2018 international summer.

Sangakkara will commentate on a number of games including England’s Test Series against Pakistan and India, as well as their one-day international and Twenty20, according to The Independent.
