Anushka Sharma to produce a comedy next?

Anushka Sharma who has portrayed many characters in her movies, is rumoured that her next production will be a comedy, though details have not yet emerged.

Sharma who is currently shooting for ‘Zero’, produced a few films under her banner, such as ‘Phillauri’ (2017), ‘NH10’ (2015) and more recently ‘Pari’ (2018). According to Deccan Chronicle the ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ (2017) star is all set to make an outright comedy as her next.

A trade source revealed, “Right now, details are very sketchy. But what can be confirmed is that Anushka has been very interested – for a while now – in trying her hand at comedy. Although she as well as her team is tight-lipped about it, the project is finally in the process of being put together.”

Further adding, “Anushka will take the call (about starring in the comedy film or not) once she completes her current acting projects. The actor, who has been exploring diverse subjects and taking calculated and successful risks – as an actor as well as a producer – feels that it’s the best time to experiment with comedy.”…“But it will also have a different touch that has become her USP of sorts as a producer.”

Recently it was announced that Sharma will be receiving the Dada Saheb Phalke for her contribution to Hindi cinema.
