India Ratings: Sony TV climbs & ZEE TV drops in Urban region

Sony Entertainment Television climbed up in India ratings (Urban), while ZEE TV slipped in latest BARC India data for Week 13 of 2018.

Colors remained India’s No.1 Hindi entertainment channel with 389.161 million Impressions, followed by Star Bharat with 362.491 million Impressions and Sony TV rose to No.3 with 361.152 million Impressions. In fourth place was Star Plus with 339.637 million Impressions and ZEE TV was next with 316.212 million Impressions.

The top rated shows in the Urban region were ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6.901 million Impressions, followed by the finale of ‘Super Dancer 2’ on Sony TV with 6.632 million Impressions and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 5.845 million Impressions.

In the Rural region, ZEE Anmol was No.1 Hindi entertainment channel with 571.406 million Impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 482.037 million Impressions and Star Utsav next with 443.027 million Impressions. Star Bharat was at No.4 with 386.062 million Impressions and Rishtey in fifth place with 320.269 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Rural region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 10.607 million Impressions, followed by ‘CID’ on Sony Pal with 6.168 million Impressions and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony Pal with 5.963 million Impressions.

In the combined Urban & Rural regions data, Star Bharat took the No.1 position with 748.554 million Impressions, followed by ZEE Anmol with 737.113 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 707.481 million Impressions. In fourth was Star Utsav with 632.677 million Impressions and Colors next with 530.771 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the region was ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 12.792 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 11.078 million Impressions and the finale of ‘Super Dancer 2’ on Sony TV with 9.806 million Impressions.
