Amyra Dastur to play Rajkummar Rao’s love interest in ‘Mental Hai Kya?’

Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Mental Hai Kya?’, has certainly got people taking since the release of the first look posters of Rajkummar Rao and Kangna Ranaut. Now we getting feelers of who could be paired opposite Rao.

Reported on Deccan Chronicle, the makers of ‘Mental Hai Kya?’ are slowly releasing the rest of the star cast and now it’s Amyra Dastur’s turn. Dastur will play Rao’s love interest in the film. A source said, “Amyra has been approached to play Rajkummar’s love interest in the film. It’s a very quirky film and the makers have plans to cast some unusual pairing for the film.”

Dastur was last seen in ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ (2017) and has since been working in South films. ‘Mental Hai Kya?’ will be addressing the stigma attached to mental illness.

The film is being directed by National Award-winner Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Karma Media. A release date has not yet been confirmed, but the film is slated to release some time this year.
