Shraddha Kapoor to complete ‘Stree’ in 20 days

Shraddha Kapoor has a busy 2018 in store. She has already wrapped up her work on ‘Saaho’ and is also the female lead in ‘Stree,’ in which she will share screen space for the first time with Rajkummar Rao. Currently she is in Tehri, Uttrakhand, where she is shooting for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ with Shahid Kapoor.

Among all these films, she has the shortest schedule for ‘Stree,’ reports DNA India. A source says, “Shraddha had to allot only about 20 days to its producers — Dinesh Vijan, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. For the first schedule in Chanderi, she gave 10 days to the team. After she finishes Batti Gul, Shraddha will be back on the sets of Stree and shoot for another 10 days, during which she will wrap up her portion.”

Kapoor decided to take up the role as it’s crucial to the film. “She is the surprise element in this horror-comedy. Stree is based on an urban Indian legend and the story revolves around her character,” the source added.

Another source from the production informed, “The team plans to complete the film in six weeks. They have already finished half of it. Now, they will shoot a song with Shraddha and Rajkummar following which he will complete his remaining portion.”
