Karan Johar preparing film for Abhishek Bachchan?

With his last film receiving much acclaim, his current reality TV talent show being a huge hit, and soon to be seen on the big screen in a double role, one would think Karan Johar will take it all in and go on a break. However, if news is to be believed, apparently the filmmaker-actor is now also working on a film for none other than Abhishek Bachchan.

According to Asian Age, Bachchan, who will soon be seen Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyan’, Bachchan was supposed to be working with Ram Gopal Varma. However, when that plan failed, Johar seems to have taken the reigns in setting Bachchan’s forthcoming project. “Earlier, Ram Gopal Varma was to make a film with Abhishek, but Ramu is all over the place. Nagarjuna has ensured that Ramu does not mess around anywhere else till he completes his fifth film with him. So now Karan, who is also close to the Bachchans, has taken it upon himself to do a project worthy of Bachchan junior,” a source was reported revealing.

Despite the news being out, none of the filmsmakers are ready to confirm anything. So it seems, fans will have to play the waiting game for now.
