Overnights: Star Plus leaps ahead with huge boost on Thursday

Star Plus delivered its biggest ratings of 2018 so far on Thursday with a huge surge, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel delivered a share of 0.29% with regular fictions ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, ‘Chakravyuh’ and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ leading the way. They attracted 146,600 viewers, 105,700 viewers and 100,400 viewers respectively. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 was watched by 78,300 viewers at 18:00.

Hum TV was joint second place with Rishtey with a share of 0.05%. Hum TV’s top shows were ‘Mere Meherbaan’ at 21:00 with 31,600 viewers, followed by ‘Sho Bhatti’ at 18:00 with 20,800 viewers and ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ at 22:00 with 14,600 viewers. Meanwhile, on Rishtey ‘Uttaran’ was on top with 51,800 viewers, followed by ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 21:00 with 21,100 viewers and ‘The Great Indian Global Kitchen’ at 17:30 with 11,100 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television, Sony MAX, Hum Masala and Geo TV were next with a share of 0.04%. ‘Mere Sai’ on Sony TV pulled in its biggest audience, 57,400 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 14:00 with 11,700 viewers. Sony MAX’s top film was ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ at 20:00 with 9,800 viewers. Geo TV also did well with ‘Mubarak Ho Rishta Aaya Hai’ at 23:00 with 14,100 viewers.

B4U Movies and ZEE TV raked in a share of 0.03% with ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey’ at 22:00 leading with 14,800 viewers.

Colors fetched a share of 0.02% with ‘Savitri Devi & College’ in pole position at 19:00 with 10,900 viewers.
