Box Office: ‘2.0’ release date changed?

‘Padmaavat’ (2018) definitely caused a bit of upheaval with it’s new release date, as it was going to clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Pad Man’, which is now rescheduled. However, it is likely another big release will be in a similar situation.

According to Box Office India, Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ starring Kumar, is also looking at a delayed release, due to the film requiring a lot of VFX. There is quite a bit of work left that is still pending, so hitting the original release date of April 27th is looking unlikely.

Of course this isn’t good news for other film makers as they do not want their films to clash with a big release, but apparently all the Friday’s in the year have been booked up, so it will interesting to see what date will be announced and which films will be impacted.
