Diljit Dosanjh & Kartik Aaryan to join forces for romantic comedy

Diljit Dosanjh and Kartik Aaryan are set to be seen together for a romantic comedy, which is to be produced by Ramesh Taurani.

They would have come together previously in ‘Boom Boom In New York,’ but this failed to happen as Aaryan opted out, reports DNA India. Last week, BizAsiaLive.com reported that Dosanjh was set to work with Taurani after the producer finishes up with ‘Race 3.’

“It’s a romantic comedy story with the two actors in the lead. The hunt for the female lead is currently underway and will be locked soon,” reveals the source. The film is slated to go into production in May or June.

Dosanjh, who made his Bollywood debut in ‘Udta Punjab’ (2016) seems to be moving from strength to strength. He is currently shooting for the biopic on hockey player Sandeep Singh. Aaryan, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ with the same team of his hit ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ (2011) franchise; director Luv Ranjan and co-stars Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh.
