Priyanka Chopra comes out in support of SLB over ‘Padmavati’ row

Fresh from her appearance at the ZEE Cine Awards last night, Priyanka Chopra has opened up about her support for Sanjay Leela Bhansali over the ‘Padmavati’ controversy’.

Chopra, who has previously worked with the popular filmmaker in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) and ‘Ram Leela’ (2013) voiced her support for Bhansali.

She was cited in Times Of India saying, “I know that this will come out and I know people will see the art behind it. They just have to make sure that everything is sorted. I will always stand by not just Sanjay sir but also Deepika, Ranveer, and Shahid for the film.”

During her stay in Mumbai, Chopra is expected to announce her next Bollywood film. She returns to LA in January to resume working on ‘Quantico – Season 3’.
