Box Office: SLB to gift Deepika ‘Padmavati’ release in January?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much troubled movie ‘Padmavati’ is rumoured to be readying a release for 5th January 2018, which will coincide with actress Deepika Padukone’s birthday.

According to reports, CBFC is expected to give the film the all-clear this week, which means ‘Padmavati’ will finally be able to hit theatres.

A source told a leading publication, “There’s been no official intimation from the producers. Whenever they plan to release it, we will be happy to give them the promised number of screens.”

Another source said, “Once the certificate comes, the producers will decide when they want to release Padmavati. As of now, they’re looking at January 5 and January 12.”
