Overnights: Sony MAX clinches No.1 spot on Sunday

Sony MAX has beaten all of its rivals on Sunday by claiming the No.1 position, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

It was a good day for movie channels as each of them saw a rise in their ratings. However, it was Sony MAX that got the better of them all, beating all channels including market leader, Star Plus. Sony MAX clocked up a share of 0.08%.

Sony MAX’s top performer on Sunday was the movie ‘Devdas’ at 16:15 with 15,100 viewers, followed by ‘Chandni’ at 09:00 with 11,800 viewers and ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ at 14:15 with 11,400 viewers.

Colors was in second place with a share of 0.06%. ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 delivered 77,900 viewers, followed by ‘Entertainment Ki Raat’ at 22:30 with 7,800 viewers.

ZEE Cinema was closely behind with a share of 0.06%. Premiere of ‘Haseena Parkar’ led with 20,500 viewers, followed by ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ at 14:45 with 16,500 viewers.

Star Plus was next with a share of 0.05%. Its top show was ‘TED Talks India’ at 19:00 with 34,300 viewers, followed by ‘Indian Sports Honours’ at 18:00 with 23,900 viewers and ‘Dance Champions’ at 21:00 with 17,000 viewers.

Hum TV’s share stood at 0.05% with ‘Tumhari Maryum’ at 20:00 with 33,100 viewers, followed by ‘To Dil Ko Kia Hua’ at 22:00 with 22,000 viewers and ‘La Hasil’ at 21:00 with 15,600 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television delivered a share of 0.03% with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ repeat at 15:30 with 17,900 viewers.

ZEE TV managed to secure a 0.02% share, with movie ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ raking in 6,600 viewers.
