Mouni Roy on working with Akshay: “I have immense love & respect for him”

Popular TV actress Mouni Roy who is soon to be making her Bollywood debut with ‘Brahamastra’ and ‘Gold’ talks about the latter and her experience working with Akshay Kumar.

In an interview with Mid-day, Roy shares how she valued working with Kumar. “(It was) wonderful. He is so sincere in every shot. You feel so lucky to just stand in the same frame as him and I have learnt something every day on the film set.” “I have immense love and respect for him. I am so glad to be a part of the film.”

‘Gold’ which also star Kunal Kapoor and Amit Sadh, is a biopic based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh Sr, who was a part of the team that won the first Olympic medal for India as a free nation in 1948. Directed by Reema Kagti, ‘Gold is slated to release in August 2018.
