Nargis Fakhri signed for ‘Torbaaz’ opposite Sanjay Dutt

After taking a break from Bollywood since her last stint in Ravi Jadhav’s ‘Banjo’ (2016), news has it that Nargis Fakhri is all set to make her comeback. However, this time she’ll be essaying a much serious role, starring opposite non other than Sanjay Dutt, in Girish Malik’s ‘Torbaaz’.

As Ahmadabad Mirror  reports, having flown from her LA home to Mumbai, Fakhri is set to play an NGO worker named Ayesha who becomes involved in supporting Afghan refugees after the war. Talking to the media about how Fakhri is preparing for her role, Rahul Mittra who will be co-producing the project, was reported revealing, “Nargis is playing the parallel lead and has already begun taking language classes in LA for Pushto and Dari, both of which she will be using extensively.”

He went on to add, “We met at Girish’s suburban home two weeks ago. Nargis was tired and jetlagged but the meeting went great and she immediately gave her nod after hearing the story. She will stun everybody with her dialogue delivery in this film.”

Talking about the films shooting and locations, Mittra expressed, “We will start in Bishkek and travel along the Silk Route through Central Asia. The film will feature different terrains and we will be shooting through the biting cold in difficult locations that have never been tapped by Bollywood before.”
