Overnights: Star Plus leaps ahead on Wednesday in UK

Star Plus re-affirmed its position as the leading Asian TV channel in UK ratings on Wednesday, with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ giving the channel a huge boost, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel’s share surged to 0.25%, with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 raking in 174,700 viewers, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 121,800 viewers, ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 20:00 with 99,300 viewers and ‘Ikyawann’ at 20:30 with 90,000 viewers.

Hum TV was in second place with a share of 0.07% with ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ at 22:00 with 32,000 viewers, followed by ‘Diyar–E-Dil’ at 21:00 with 18,500 viewers.

Colors was next with a share of 0.04%. Its top rated show remained ‘Bigg Boss 11’ with 53,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 16,600 viewers and ‘Laado’ at 22:00 with 11,700 viewers.

Hum Masala also delivered a share of 0.04%, with ‘Evening With Shireen’ at 17:00 with 21,800 viewers, leading the channel’s ratings.

Sony TV registered a share of 0.02%, while ZEE TV dropped to 0.01%.
