Kangna Ranaut refuses to sign Deepika Padukone protection petition?

Just when one thought Kangna Ranaut could not bring any other shock factors to the table, it seems she’s done it again where many may not agree with her actions. If news is to be believed, the actress refused to sign a petition that urges the Prime Minister for Deepika Padukone’s safety in the midst of the death threats she had received.

“It was Shabana Azmi who initiated a campaign in the  film industry. She got every major actress to sign a petition to the Prime Minister asking for Deepika’s safety and protection. The actresses who signed the petition included Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan  Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, her sister Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and many others. All of them willingly signed the petition,” Deccan Chronicle reports a source revealing.

However Ranaut had a different idea, as they went on to explain, “Kangana refused point blank. She said an outright no to signing the petition, much to Shabana’s shock and annoyance.”

It has been known the Ranaut doesn’t have a great reputation within the industry, and has in fact claimed that her and Padukone are not friends. However it seems this may be a case of tit for tat according to the source who added, “What came as a clincher was the complete silence of the industry including Deepika, when Kangana battled Hrithik Roshan. Kangana probably feels no need to extend her support to anyone since no one supported her. And,  she is not all wrong.”

Looks like Ranaut is ensuring she is known for one to not take things lightly.
