Deepika on Ranveer: “When we’re with each other, we don’t need anyone else”

The controversy surrounding ‘Padmavati’ has no doubt taken its toll on the cast and crew itself. With the film yet to release in early 2018, promotions for the film have been put back.

Deepika Padukone has spoken highly of her co-star and alleged lover, Ranveer Singh in one of the most revealing interviews.

Talking to Filmfare, Padukone said, “When we’re with each other, we don’t need anything or anyone else. We’re comfortable in each other’s presence. Sometimes it’s intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there’s a childlike innocence. We keep each other grounded. We are good in that sense.”

She added, “Hmmm…and what would the next level be? It’s not obvious. I don’t know if marriage per se… Because I believe every relationship has its natural progression. I’m discovering that myself.”
