‘Beyhadh’ actor Piyush Sahdev charged with rape

Television actor Piyush Sahdev has been arrested on rape charges.

The actor known for his recent work in ‘Beyhadh’ on Sony TV, was arrested by Mumbai Police after a girl filed a case against him. Sahdev will remain in custody until 27th November.

Talking to The Indian Express, a source said, “The model has accused Piyush of raping her. After she filed a case with the Versova police, Piyush was picked up from his house and arrested. As of now, the police have put him in custody until November 27, and he won’t be given a bail till then.”

Investigating officer Kiran Kamle told the publication, “Yes, he is in custody and only after November 27, we will be able to give the next verdict. An FIR was fired on November 20, and we arrested him on November 22.”
