Box Office: ‘Fanney Khan’ on course to clash with ‘Race 3’ on Eid 2018

Former power couple Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have recently been in the news sending the public into frenzy. It was only few days ago that the news of ‘Fanney Khan’ clashing with ‘Race 3’ with the same release date came out.

Eid usually is Khan’s territory. It is almost considered suicidal to release a film on Eid, given his track record at the box office. And going by the latest rumours, makers of ‘Fanney Khan’ might reschedule the release date to avoid this clash at the box office, reports India Today.

A trade analyst told to the media, “Reactions to the news weren’t favourable. Eid is locked for a Salman film. Any film clashing with it must be contextually strong.” The report further suggests that makers held numerous meeting discussing the change in the release date.

However, KriArj Entertainment, producers of ‘Fanney Khan,’ took to Twitter to squash the rumours and said that the film will still release on Eid 2018.

It seems the clash between Khan and Bachchan remains on course for next year.
