Madhuri-Anil confirmed to reunite for ‘Total Dhamaal’

After 17 years, iconic pair Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Anil Kapoor are all set for a comeback in director Indra Kumar’s ‘Total Dhamaal’.

“Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have been paired in ‘Total Dhamaal’ which goes on the floors in January in Mumbai. However, this film is essentially a comedy so don’t expect any ‘Dhak Dhak’ but I promise total dhamaal. Anil and Madhuri have always been a great pair to work with and getting them together again is a dream.”, Kumar told Mumbai Mirror.

‘Total Dhamaal’ will be the third sequel to ‘Dhamaal’ (2007) and ‘Double Dhamaal’ (2011). Kumar is hoping for a Diwali 2018 release. ”The final decision on the release date will be taken by the studio we tie up with but it would be great to have a dhamaal Diwali next year.” Kumar has previously directed the duo in hits such as ‘Beta’ (1992) and ‘Dil’ (1990).
