&TV to axe ‘Waaris’ in December

&TV is axing its once popular series ‘Waaris’ next month, BizAsiaLive.com can reveal.

The show, which has been on-air for nearly 18 months, will breathe its last on 1st December 2017.

‘Waaris’ launched with decent numbers, mainly due to its original concept of gender discrimination but recently numbers had fallen, resulting in the channel pulling down the shutters down on the show.
