Overnights: ZEE TV crashes further; Star Bharat impresses in UK

ZEE TV crashed to a new ratings low in Friday’s UK ratings, while Star Bharat surged to No.3 behind Star Plus and Hum Masala, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus remained the UK’s top Asian TV channel with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 scoring 101,900 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 84,000 viewers, ‘Meri Durga’ at 18:30 with 67,000 viewers and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 65,200 viewers. The final episode of ‘Chandra Nandini’ raked in 56,300 viewers.

On Star Bharat, ‘Savdhaan India’ continued to fly the flag high at 22:00 with 55,700 viewers and a further 36,400 viewers at 22:00.

On Colors, ‘Savitri Devi College and Hospital’ at 19:00 topped ratings with 29,300 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 28,300 viewers and ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 with 20,300 viewers.

On ZEE TV, majority of its output rated near zero, except ZEE News bulletin at 07:00 with 3,900 viewers. Its overall share stood at 0%, compared to Sony TV’s 0.02% share.

On Hum Masala, ‘Kadurat’ at 20:00 delivered 31,100 viewers, followed by ‘Handi’ at 10:00 with 28,500 viewers and ‘Tarka’ with 21,000 viewers at 22:00.

On Hum TV, ‘Neelum Kinaray’ at 21:00 fetched 21,600 viewers, followed by ‘Oh Rungreza’ at 20:00 with 14,200 viewers and ‘Pagli’ at 22:00 with 13,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Manto’ at 22:00 was watched by 2,300 viewers.
