Overnights: Sony SAB TV clinches No.1 position on Sunday

In a huge twist in Sunday’s UK ratings, Sony SAB TV took the No.1 position beating market leader, Star Plus, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Sony SAB TV’s bumper movie collection all-day on Sunday was enough to vent off any competition from rival channels. Sony SAB TV also beat its sister channels, Sony Entertainment Television and Sony MAX. Sony SAB TV’s share stood at 0.14%, compared to Star Plus’ 0.07%.

The top movie on Sony SAB TV on Sunday was ‘Tashan’ with 37,400 viewers at 17:15, followed by ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ at 14:30 with 37,200 viewers and ‘Gunday’ at 20:00 with 23,200 viewers.

Star Plus’ ratings came crashing down with only ‘Dance Champions’ performing well with 45,900 viewers, followed by ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ at 20:00 with 23,400 viewers and ‘Lip Sing Battle’ at 22:00 with 8,100 viewers. The Star Plus Premiere of ‘A Gentleman’ at 17:00 with 9,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 attracted 25,100 viewers, followed by the Saturday repeat episode at 17:00 with 11,700 viewers and ‘Dev’ at 22:00 with 10,700 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘CID’ at 19:00 raked in 23,800 viewers, followed by ‘Super Dancer’ at 20:00 with 9,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Khaki – Ek Vachan’ at 19:30 brought in 27,500 viewers, followed by ‘Dance India Dance’ at 20:30 with 5,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Tumhari Maryum’ at 20:00 fetched 17,100 viewers, followed by ‘To Dil Ko Kia Hua’ at 22:00 with 12,700 viewers and ‘La Hasil’ at 21:00 with 11,800 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘Riwayati Mithaiyan’ at 17:00 pulled in 13,700 viewers, followed by ‘Mehboob’s Kitchen’ at 18:30 with 12,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Malkin’ at 20:00 attracted 15,000 viewers, followed by ‘Rani’ at 18:00 with 7,900 viewers.
