Overnights: Star Bharat overtakes ZEE TV, Sony TV & Colors

In a promising display set of ratings for Star Bharat on Thursday, the channel managed to beat other GECs ZEE TV, Sony Entertainment Television and Colors, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Bharat has done well since it replaced predecessor, Life OK. The channel had a share of 0.05%, compared to ZEE TV’s 0.01%, Sony TV’s 0.2% and Colors just behind Star Bharat with a 0.05% share.

Star Bharat’s top rated show on Thursday was ‘Jiji Maa’ at 19:30 with 18,700 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:00 with 18,500 viewers and a further 18,500 viewers at 23:00 for ‘Savdhaan India’. ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ at 20:30 fetched 11,100 viewers at 20:30.

Sister channel, Star Plus remained the ultimate leader with a share of 0.23%. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 delivered 115,700 viewers, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 105,900 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 96,500 viewers. ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 raked in 84,100 viewers.

Colors’ biggest show on Thursday was ‘Bigg Boss 11’ with 30,400 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 25,800 viewers and ‘Shakti’ with 18,400 viewers at 20:00.

Sony TV’s top show was ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 20:30 with 21,900 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 with 16,600 viewers and ‘Haasil’ at 21:30 with 1,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ZEE News bulletin at 17:30 pulled in 8,800 viewers, followed by ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey’ at 22:00 and ‘Aisi Deewangi’ at 22:30 with 5,400 viewers each.

On Hum TV, ‘Shab-e-Zindagi’ at 21:00 attracted 23,500 viewers, followed by ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ at 22:00 with 7,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Yaar-e-Bewafa’ at 21:00 pulled in 16,000 viewers, followed by ‘Bedardi Saiyan’ at 22:00 with 13,100 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘Mazedar Daal Sabzi’ at 12:30 raked in 21,600 viewers, followed by ‘Evening With Shireen’ with 18,700 viewers at 17:00.
