Deepika Padukone likely to work in next ‘xXx’ film?

After the lukewarm response her debut Hollywood film ‘xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage’ received earlier this year, it seems Deepika Padukone will reprise the role of Serena Unger opposite Vin Diesel in the next part.

A source told DNA India, “Deepika will, in all probability, be a part of the sequel because her contract reportedly has a clause that says if the box-office business of the film crosses the $170 million mark (which it did and did far more), she will definitely reprise the role of Serena. It also apparently specifies that her role will become meatier and longer in the next outing.”

Currently, Padukone is working on a number of Bollywood projects, with ‘Padmavati’ being her next, releasing on 1st December 2017.
