Sushant & Sara’s ‘Kedarnath’ to feature Uttarakhand floods?

With buzz surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s next ‘Kedarnath’ reaching fever pitch, there’s speculation that the 2013 Uttarakhand floods will be recreated for the film.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the floods will play an integral part in the film’s narrative. Even though the storyline of ‘Kedarnath’ focuses on the spiritual elements and the love story between Rajput and Khan’s characters, it will use the floods as a backdrop.

The report adds that Khan and Rajput have undergone extensive preparation for the scenes, which will see them submerge in water for hours in a day.

‘Kedarnath’ is helmed by Abhishek Kapoor. It releases in June 2018.
