Sanjay Dutt praises Ranbir Kapoor for upcoming biopic

Following the hype after the reveal of Ranbir Kapoor’s look for his film based on Sanjay Dutt’s life, Dutt has also expressed his delight at Kapoor’s dedication and acting.

The industry has been going ga-ga over the reveal of Kapoor’s look and fans are eager to see and hear more. At a recent event where Dutt was promoting his film ‘Bhoomi’, the superstar was all praises for both the lead actor and the director of his biopic. “I’m lucky and humbled that they are making a biopic on a guy who is still alive. Ranbir has done a fantastic job, there is nobody better than Rajkumar Hirani”, said Dutt as reported by Times of India.

The film has been garnering hype ever since it was announced due to its subject as well as its star cast. Kapoor has left no stone unturned to play the superstar from watching Dutt’s expressions to physically building his body. Kapoor recently also said “We worked really hard at it, doing four months of prosthetic (make-up) trials, lots of disappointments, thinking that it’s not going to work out. But you need to put in that time and effort. It’s a daunting task to play someone like Sanjay Dutt, who everybody knows anyway”, as reported in Filmfare.

The film is yet untitled but is set to release in March 2018.
