Arjun Rampal accused of abusing stylist team whilst promoting ‘Daddy’

Arjun Rampal has been accused of throwing a tantrum during a recent promotional event. The actor reportedly gave abuse to his stylist team as well as having high demands from the team.

Rampal was promoting his latest release ‘Daddy’ (2017) in Dubai where the incident occurred. Z Haus, a style consultancy, were sponsoring the styling for the promotional tour, providing free make-up and hair styling for the cast. In return for the free sponsoring, the company requests the star to provide a media-byte that it can use for its own promotional activities. However after continuously asking the actor for the media-byte, he reportedly snapped and shouted at the team to ‘Keep quiet’ and ‘Shut up’.

The CEO of Z Haus, Zeenat Jaffer, confirmed the story and went onto add “We sponsored all the make-up and hair, we bore the cost. We just want the star to give a shout-out to us which we then share on our social media platforms and in our campaigns. Just a line like ‘Z Haus Rocks’, that’s all. He was quite rude. First, we thought that he would do it after the event wraps up but he just refused”, said Jaffer as reported in SpotBoye.com.

Jaffer went onto say Rampal was extremely demanding throughout the promotional tour. The CEO expressed her dismay at his attitude however complimented other stars who had used her company’s services. “Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt we have all their media bytes. Kanika Kapoor is my client, she pays for our services and has given us a shout-out. This is the first time that a star has said ‘No’ and not just refused but also said ‘Shut up’”, she finished.

Rampal has not provided any comments on the allegations.
