Varun Dhawan to revisit ‘Badlapur’ for ‘October’?

After the dark revenge thriller ‘Badlapur’ in 2015, Varun Dhawan is set to enter a darker place with Shoojit Sircar’s next ‘October’.

According to DNA India, ‘October’ promises to be a hard-hitting film. A source told the publication, “Both these films might be in different spaces, but October isn’t a light-hearted romantic film. It’s heartbreaking and dark, probably more niche than Badlapur.”

The team of ‘October’ is also said to have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement to ensure the storyline of the film does not get leaked. The source said, “Shoojit doesn’t want the story line of this film to be revealed before its release. He doesn’t want any leaks, which will spoil the surprise.”

It added, “This film is dark and he won’t have any make-up. It’s going to be very real. It’s one of the things Varun likes about the film. Shoojit has designed his character really well.”

‘October’ goes on the floors later this year.
