Saif Ali Khan to play Afghan warrior in ‘Soorma’

If there’s one actor who definitely seems to be hot property at the moment, it’s Saif Ali Khan. Although he has a few films already in his kitty as well as Netflix’s ‘Sacred Games’, the actor has reportedly signed another film titled ‘Soorma’.

According to Deccan Chronicle, the actor will be seen playing the role of an Afghan warrior in the film which will be Honey Trehaan’s debut production. A source revealed, “Only Saif’s part has been locked. Honey is yet to shortlist the director and the remaining cast for this film”. Coincidentally, the actor will also be playing a warrior in Aanand L Rai’s next.

Trehaan will be making his directorial debut with Vishal Bhardwaj’s production which will star Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.
