Ali Fazal: “Judi Dench calls India her second home”

Ali Fazal seems to be floating on cloud 9 with his forthcoming Hollywood film ‘Victoria and Abdul’ on its way. The film will also star Dame Judi Dench, who he says has a great admiration for India.

“Judi is very keen on visiting India again. It’s on her priority list. She calls India her second home. After having spent a considerable time here for the shooting of ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ (2011), she fell in love with the country,” Hindustan Times reports the actor expressing.

He went on to add, “She also wants to promote our film [Victoria and Abdul] here in India.”

Talking about what he has in store for the Dame when she visits again, Fazal explained, “I am actually looking forward to taking her around places I know she would like for sure. I have even told her that whenever she lands here, I will make sure she experiences Indian life, culture and food.”
