Yami eager to do a biopic on Madhubala & Indira Gandhi

Yami Gautam who will be seen in ‘Sarkar 3’ from this weekend, is very much eager to be a part of a biopic on her two favourites, yesteryear actress Madhubala and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

According to DNA India, Gautam looks up to Madhubala as a supernal beauty, apart from her mother. She adds on, “There was something special about her — it’s been decades, she left us at a very early age, yet she has left a mark which is still unattainable and unreachable. That charm, that luminous aura she has on screen, it’s not about make-up, but there is something about her that’s fascinating and I would love to play her.”

The other prominent and highly influential woman she truly adores is none other than Indira Gandhi. Gautam is keen on reading as much as she can on her biographies in order to learn much about the woman who created a vast difference in the world of politics.

“There’s a certain strength that she had, and at the same time there was a vulnerable side to her as well. She has been one of the strongest women our country or maybe the world has ever seen in world politics.” Gautam shared further.
