‘Dangal’ left out of IIFA 2017 nominations?

Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ (2016) is a film that critics have praised and audiences have liked. However, it seems the upcoming International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) 2017 haven’t included the film on the nominations lists.

The voting for the awards have been underway but, as reported by Pinkvilla, Kriti Sanon and Shilpa Shetty Kundra told media that they were surprised that ‘Dangal’ wasn’t on the list when they had cast their votes.

It remains to be seen whether an explanation is forthcoming on why the film wasn’t included.

The IIFAs are taking place in New York in June.
