Overnights: ‘The Voice India 2’ ends quietly in UK

&TV’s popular singing reality show ‘The Voice India’ ended on a quiet night in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The grand finale, which was won by Farhan Sabir, was watched by just 17,300 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 58,700 viewers during the 2.5 hour telecast. Earlier in the day, movie ‘Sirf Tum’ fetched 6,800 viewers, followed by movie ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ at 15:30 with 5,600 viewers.

Market leader, Star Plus remained in front with ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 130,500 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 122,700 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 96,100 viewers. ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ at 20:00 registered 54,600 viewers and ‘Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai’ at 21:00 with 41,000 viewers. Earlier in the day, movie ‘Sholay’ at 13:00 was watched by 29,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Rising Star India’ at 21:00 pulled in 34,800 viewers, followed by ‘Naagin – Season 2’ at 20:00 with 8,800 viewers and ‘Devanshi’ at 19:00 with 6,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 led with 36,600 viewers, followed by ‘Kairi’ at 19:00 with 15,300 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 13,000 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, movie ‘Sultan’ at 17:30 continued to do well on the channel with 42,400 viewers. It was the most watched Bollywood movie on UK television on Sunday. ‘Love Aaj Kal’ was next with 8,400 viewers at 14:45. ‘Bhootnath Returns’ at 11:30 pulled in 7,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Khushiyaan’ at 19:00 raked in 14,800 viewers, followed by ‘Aao Laut Chalein’ at 21:00 with 5,600 viewers and ‘Khan’ at 20:00 with 5,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Pani Jesa Pyaar’ at 21:00 delivered 44,600 viewers, followed by ‘Sammi’ at 20:00 with 35,400 viewers.
