9XM abruptly removed from Sky EPG

9XM has been removed from the Sky Digital EPG today.

The Bollywood music channel has suddenly disappeared due to a “technical fault” but vows to return, according to BizAsia sources.

Recently Ofcom had revoked the licence of 9XM UK due to reasons unknown. It is not known whether the disappearance is connected to Ofcom.

BizAsia attempted to contact World Media Connect, the distributor of the channel in UK, however was awaiting a response at the time of filing this article.

Incidentally, 9XM becomes BARB rated on Monday (15th October) so is expected to return this week.

9XM was available on Sky EPG 851.
