9X on course to introduce more new shows

Since the India TV strike last winter, 9X is one channel that has been the slowest in introducing new shows.

While its rivals have gone for image makeovers, new brandings and new shows, 9X has been quiet – until now!

The channel has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that the next few weeks will see the debut of many new shows that will change the face of 9X.

After four new launches in the last three weeks, the latest being added to the kitty is ‘Kismet Ka Khel’, which is a saga of Krishna and Damini, two strongly motivated protagonists whose aspirations drive them to push all boundaries to realise their dreams. They are two individuals with strong principles who could have been friends, had fate not decided to make them enemies, thus giving birth to hatred and a war between Krishna and Damini, threatening to destroy not just them but everyone and everything they love.

‘Kismet Ka Khel’ starts on Monday 13th April at 20:30 and will air Monday through to Thursday.

Recently 9X has launched ‘Chaandni Raatein’, ‘Sai Bhakton Ki Sachchi Kahaaniyaan’, ‘Black’ and ‘Rocking Raga’.

In weeks to come, the network has ‘Zamaana Badal Gaya’, ‘Biwi O Biwi’, ‘Kuchh Kook Hota Hai’ and ‘Mauja hi Mauja’ to unveil.

This will certainly silence critics who had written off the channel after undergoing many managerial changes and lack of new shows.
