Broadcasting giant, 21st Century Fox has upped its bid to take full control of Sky.

Fox’s renewed bid worth £24.5 billion, overtaking Comcast’s previous offer of £22 billion it made in February.

Fox is likely to get clearance from the British regulators this week to secure the deal.
