Riteish Deshmukh begins second Marathi venture with ‘Mauli’

BizAsiaLive.com recently reported of Riteish Deshmukh signing his second Marathi project titled ‘Mauli’. Well news has it the the actor has already started shooting for the film and it seems to be going well.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Deccan Chronicle reports Deshmukh expressing, “As an actor, I always wanted to experiment with various genres and thankfully in the last few years, I have got the opportunity to do so.”

“‘Lai Bhaari’ (2014) made me believe I could attempt action drama genre and after I read the script of ‘Mauli’, I knew I was ready for my second Marathi film,” he added.

Along with wife Genelia D’Souza, Deshmukh has also turned producer for the project. Talking to the media, D’Souza explained, “With ‘Mauli’ going on floors now, we will also be making a few more exciting announcements very soon.”
