100 crores in sight for ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’

It has already become the third highest grosser of the year and now ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is very much edging towards 100 crores. However, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is still happier that is has struck a chord with the audiences rather that the box office figure achieved.

Talking at the launch of the mobile game for the film, TOI report Mehra saying, “It’s across the sections. From an 8-year-old to an 80-year-old… and in families, daughters and sons are taking their father (parents) and grandparents to see the film. This is rare! This was definitely not planned”.

The director also said, “When your work goes out to the masses and it’s a commercial success, definitely it makes you feel very good and that means all your efforts are going out to more people”.

Farhan Akhtar’s rendition as protagonist has been much appreciated by the masses and industry folk too.
