Rahul Bose, who has directed the film ��Poorna�۪ – story about Malavath Poorna who climbed Mount Everest at the age of 13 years old – will be having the film trailer unveiled on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Bollywood Hungama reports the makers have decided the trailer of the biopic will be performed by Poorna on 15th August, Indian Independence Day. The grand event will involve the unfurling of the longest India National flag and will be part of Poorna�۪s next expedition, which will begin on 10th August.
Poorna completed a world record by being the youngest girl to scale Mount Everest at the mere age 13 years and 11 months old, with her co-partner Sadhanapalli Anand Kumar who was 16 years old. Actual footage from the expedition will be shown in the trailer, so letting the audience feel as though they are right there.
Bose will also have an acting role in the film, as mentor Dr RS Parveen Kumar and Poorna has said Bose is excited even though he is really busy with the post-production of the film. It is suggested the release date will be around November.
Aditi Inamdar is playing the lead role as Poorna.
