Overnights: Sony TV tops Tuesday in UK; Aaj Tak & Republic Bharat surge

Sony Entertainment Television remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Tuesday, while Indian news channels Aaj Tak and Republic Bharat surged behind, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.13%, followed by Aaj Tak with 0.08%, Star Plus, Star Gold, Republic Bharat and New Vision TV with 0.07%, ZEE TV with 0.05%, Hum TV and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, Geo TV with 0.03%, Star Bharat, Samaa TV, B4U Music and Geo News with 0.02% and Colors with 0.01%.

On Sony TV, ‘Indian Idol 10’ was watched by 64,900 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:30 with 32,000 viewers, ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:45 with 31,300 viewers and ’10 Ka Dum’ at 20:15 with 27,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ led with 20,400 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 14;30 with 16,200 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:00 with 15,400 viewers.

On Star Gold, ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’ was watched by 22,200 viewers at 15:00, followed by ‘Angrezi Medium’ at 21:00 with 12,000 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘NH10’ attracted a huge 33,600 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Jodha Akbar’ at 18:30 with 4,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kashf’ pulled in 44,300 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Bari Aapa’ at 21:00 with 9,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Raaz-e-Ulfat’ topped ratings with 11,100 viewers at 16:00.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ pulled in 19,800 viewers, 18,600 viewers and 17,200 viewers at 21:30, 22:00 and 21:00 respectively. ‘Barrister Babu’ at 20:30 was watched by 13,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ pulled in 2,500 viewers at 19:00.
